History

RM Asia-Pacific emerged in the Australian marketplace in 1997, opening a Perth office in February 1999 after being awarded the SIS contract for the Department of Education and Training Western Australia (then named EDWA).

Since then, the company has flourished and now employs 50 staff across offices in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington (NZ), servicing more than 4,000 schools across Australasia and in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Sinagpore and Taipei.

1998 EDWA awards RM Contract for SIS
1999 February: RM Australasia office in Perth opens
1999 March: EDWA contract awarded to supply 776 schools with SIS in WA
2001 Brisbane Catholic Education Office decides to install RM Curriculum Manager at schools in the diocese
2001 Northern Territory pilots start
2002 April RM Australasia opens Darwin office
2002 Awarded Preferred Supplier for NT Education Dept
2002 August: 445 Schools in WA, using RM Australasia Software
2003 March: EDWA (DoET) contract renewed for 2 years
2004 Easiteach classroom software introduced in Australia
2004 October: RM Australasia changes name to RM Asia-Pacific
2005 June: Integris accredited by MoE for use in NZ schools, now used by 220 NZ schools
2005 August: 780 Schools in WA, using RM Asia-Pacific Software
2006 July: RM Asia-Pacific announces acquisition of Perth education software firm CAZ Software, bolstering its client base and product suite to include Maze and eMaze
2007     December: RM Asia-Pacific registers a subsidiary - RM Asia-Pacific (NZ Ltd) and opens it's Wellington office
