Maze 8 VS2a with SP2

 

Maze VS2a SP2 allows you to extend the school database beyond the reach of the administration office and out to benefit the whole school community.  It gives you the foundation to integrate school management and curriculum management within the RM Learning Platform architecture.  This service pack incorporates all previously released SP1 patches.

Major features in this release:

Open Access Licence (OAL)
Discover the benefits of unrestricted licence access to your school's nominated Maze screens.  The new OAL allows your school to easily self-manage unlimited access to display screens.

  • Replaces Open Results
  • Available for any display screen, where previously this has been restricted to academic formats only

HRDS - Help  Desk Reporting Services
Submit incidents directly to a Help Desk from within Maze using the fully integrated Help Desk Reporting Services (HDRS).

  • Provides online reporting through Maze and allows tracking of errors
  • The ability to attach files, images and details to assist in problem resolution
  • The ability to initiate online Help Support Requests

System Administration Features

  • Official Support for Windows XP (SP2) and Windows 2003 Server Environments, plus Citrix and Terminal Services
  • Three flexible deployment options for improved security
  • Support for central deployment policies working with Microsoft Active Directory (Group Policy)
  • Linked Servers allow secure access to other systems
  • Extensive security enhancements - industry standard best practice security including hashing and digital signatures
